Day 7: Grand Canyon - Last Day

Another beautiful day at the Grand Canyon.

Best news this morning was that the water ban was lifted and we got to eat off real china and silverware. Prior to that, all of our fancy meals were paper and plastic. Oh my, how everything tasted so much better.

Today we had the morning to pick our own adventure. Half of us rested and hung out at our hotel or when souvenir shopping.

The other half walked the South Rim, in the opposite direction as yesterday, all the way to the Main Visitor Center. This trail marked geological time and had touchable samples of all the layers within the Grand Canyon. With a midway point of the Yavapai Geology Museum.

We all relaxed a bit before having a late, prior to departing for this evenings Sunset Tour. Our tour took us to points along the South Rim that we were unable to hike on foot. The views were stunning and will forever be etched in our mind.

Peace Out Grand Canyon!
