Yesterday was a long 14 hour day, but what a day it was.
We traveled from Nevada, through Arizona and landed in Utah at the Zion National Park. And somehow we were ordered, I mean encouraged to hike Scouts Lookout. It was a 4 mile round trip extravaganza.
An elevation gain of 1,100 feet, 3 hours and a gagillion switchbacks on a steep incline.
Â
Highlights included:
Refrigerator Canyon - much needed cool resting spot after the first set of long switchbacks and
Walter’s Wiggles - 21, yes twenty-one, super steep switchbacks!!!
Â
Many thanks and much grati to our amazing tour guides. They made the day a complete success.
